Meet Alfred! He is a mostly white 2 year old Boxer mix. We think Alfred is just about the best dog you could ever ask for. He is good with people of all ages and has been around cats and other dogs. Alfred is also housebroken, his former owners taught him to ring a bell when he needed to go outside. He has such a sweet face and disposition we know it will be love at first sight. Alfred is special needs, please conact CHS if you are interested in adopting him. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alfred, a Jackson Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
