Maxwell's Story...
Hi guys my name is Maxwell and I was recently rescued from Newark where I was dumped after a family no longer wanted to take care of me. I am really a sweet boy who would love to be spoiled with a home of my own. I am very sweet and love to drink fresh water and love my treats. Apples and bananas are my favorite. I am not neutered yet but will be next weekend and I am not crazy about this but my foster mom says its for my own good (yuck). I have a long life left to live and hope you can think about opening your heart and home to a wonderful little guy like me.

Please consider adopting a bun in need!!!

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
After fostering for over 20 years I decided it was time to open my own rescue. Bunnies are intelligent caring sensitive creatures who blossom in the right environment. They have much more spunk and personality that most people realize until they meet a truly happy bunny. You will be a convert once you have the same experiences I have had
Come Meet Our Pets...
All bunnies are kept in foster homes so please email us and we can make arrangements for you to meet.
Our Adoption Process...
All adopters are required to sign an adoption contract and agree to provide a forever home for their bun. Single bunnies are 60.00 and bonded buns are 110.00. If for any reason you are not able to keep the bun they are to be returned to the rescue.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
Willy's Wabbits is a small all volunteer run rescue that helps abandoned abused unwanted and surrendered bunnies find their forever homes. We adopt to indoor homes only. All bunnies are spay/neutered and litter box trained. We are located in the Central New Jersey area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maxwell, a Hillside Lop-Eared was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lop-Eared for sale in Hillside, or seeking a Lop-Eared from a breeder in Hillside.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillside already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillside breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lop-Eared breeders who help with Lop-Eared rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillside paves the way for another one to be saved.
