My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

It is hard to believe that this spry, spunky little gal is the mother of Cocozelle and two big boys who were bigger than her by the age of four months old. She was found outside struggling to care for her family, hardly a full grown cat herself. Amphora’s kittens have all been adopted and she loves her new found freedom. She has a great imagination which prompts her to commune with magical civilizations of sentient sparkle balls and to listen for subterranean messages issued from the depths of sink drain. When she is not playing like a kitten or flirting with Marco she adores cuddling for hours with her favorite human friends.

*Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) causes a weakening of the immune system in cats. It's often compared to human HIV, but FIV is not transferable to humans or other species. It is also difficult to transfer to other sterilized cats, and we believe that mixed FIV and non-FIV households can work if managed properly. If kept indoors in a stress-free environment, with regular medical care and high-quality nutrition, most FIV+ cats live long and healthy lives. Tree House staff can help answer your questions to see if an FIV+ cat is the right choice for you. FIV+ cats adopted from Tree House are eligible for a lifetime veterinary-care plan that includes a free annual exam and discounted treatments.
