Tucker's Story...
We can't even LOOK at this guy without smiling! He is so darn CUTE! Ha

Tucker is the sweetest little boy. He's about a year old and he loves everyone, especially kids. He has been with other dogs and cats and does very well with all of them. He loves to go for rides in the car. Tucker is a real lap dog that loves to give kisses. His tail never stops wagging.

Beware, if you meet him you'll love him!

Tuck is up to date on all his vaccines, he's heartworm negative, neutered, and he has a microchip. If you're considering adopting this little dude, please apply online at www.rescueAhart.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker, a Cincinnati Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
