Update 3/15/13: More on "Bouncing Benji"! Benji bounces around and can he jump! His long legs allow him to spring into action when he wants to get up on something - and he likes heights! Benji is one of the sweetest little boy Yorkies (mix) I've ever met. I have not seen one ounce of aggression in him - he does not like being alone and loves people and being with them, so he puts up a fuss when he's left alone. Benji has been neutered and his dental removed 17 teeth, but that doesn't stop him from being a chow hound! Because he is over (10) years old, considered a senior, and somewhat fragile, a more quiet home with no children and maybe (1) small docile dog would be best for Benji's comfort. He can be in a home with friendly cats as well because he really doesn't pay them much attention. Benji is not a toy player, but loves his blankets! Benji is crate trained, although not his favorite situation as he loves being out and about with people. If you are looking for your new best friend, a pup to keep your lap warm, and give you kisses "just because" this little boy will gladly share your last name and loving home! Initial Bio 1/3/13: Please say hello to Benji! Benji is a 10 yo Yorkie mix rescued from a high kill shelter today. Benji currently has kennel cough, severe dental issues, and we need to rule out pneumonia. Despite all this, he is a very energetic little guy just shy of 8 lbs who is very sweet. As soon as he sees a vet, we'll see what timeframe we're working with to get him well, a very needed dental, and neutered - and, he needs a grooming! Stay tuned - Benji's adventure is just beginning - maybe you can be his next chapter! Because of his size, age, and breed, Benji would be best suited in an adult home (children over 12)...
