phelia is a sweet, mellow tricolored angel that needs a loving and caring home. She is very, very shy at first but warms up with time. She will need someone very special to have the patience and love to help her overcome her shyness. She has been using the doggie door and playing with the other dogs in her foster home. Once she got to know and love her foster mom, she began to love sitting in her lap and be pet. She is crate trained, comes to her name and we are working on sitting and walking on a leash. This little girl has had a rough time. She needs patience and understanding with some structure and a pinch of discipline. She is not an easy adoption but she is also the true meaning of rescue for an experienced pet guardian who wants to truly help a troubled little dog. And we mean experienced, not just previous pets, but pets with issues. She is quite a pretty girl.....and defines the meaning of rescue and rehabilitation......please consider her if you have the experience and want to make a difference in a rescued dog's life. For more information or to submit an application, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Rescue a forever friend!
About our adoption process: For more information or to request an adoption application (required), please contact the dog's foster listed above. There is no commitment by submitting the application - it just helps us determine if the pet you are interested in will be a good match for you. Next is a meet and greet at one of our adoption events - typically held on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Chandler, AZ (Ray Rd & I-10). Not every pet is at every event so please contact us first to find out when and where you can meet the pet you are interested in. If there are other dogs in your household, we suggest bringing them to ensure everyone gets along. The standard adoption fee for dogs and puppies is $140 (cash or check) which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, microchip and collar/tags.
