Mr. Furley's Story...
If you are interested in viewing or adopting these kitties, please go to www.orphankittenrescue.com/adopt and fill out an application.

Mr. Furley is tall and lanky, quite unlike his sister, Helen. Of course I was unable to get a picture of him standing without him walking toward me! But just like his sister, he enjoys car rides and gets along well with dogs. He may be a bit shy at first with new people but comes around quickly and will be happy to purr when you pet him. Mr. Furley only seems to meow if he is away from his sister or about to get some food. He is a very energetic, playful, and curious kitten!

Mr. Furley and Helen should be adopted together as they are are the only two kittens in their litter and are very bonded. You can even hold them in your arms at the same time!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mr. Furley, a Vancouver Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
