Scooby's Story...
This little low rider is Scooby. He is a short, little, stocky fella and he’s full grown! Scooby is about 2 years old and wound up at the shelter because his owner didn’t have enough time for him. They reported that he is housetrained and knows sit and down. They also said he lived with cats. Scooby is such a happy, playful guy. He weighs about 35 pounds and won’t grow any more. If you’re looking for a medium sized pup, come meet Scooby today!

Act quickly to adopt Scooby. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scooby, a Philadelphia Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
