I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Spoty was abandoned with his brother, a Pomeranian, at an apartment complex in Bristol TN. His brother found ha new home quite quickly as little fuzzy dogs usually do, but poor Spoty is a short haired mid-sized terrier mix and they usually aren't as lucky. Spots rescuers fostered him for as long as they could and have given us some great insights into his temperament.
Spoty is great with kids, he actually bonds with them much quicker than most adults (we believe he may have been mistreated by an adult). Once he does bond with you he is your best friend. He is food motivated and learned many commands while at his foster home "sit, shake, dance and kennel-up". He is completely kennel trained, never has an accident and has never marked his territory or chewed on anything in the house. He comes when called and loves to play in the hose water and play fetch with a ball. He plays well with most other dogs here, Lucy is one of his best buddies.
He is fully vetted, neutered and HW negative. He is ready to find a family to call his own, one with kids would be great!! We have been involved in the dog grooming and boarding business for 20 plus years, during that time we have also offered housing to other rescue groups who do not have a physical location as well as rescued dogs that came our way. 3 years ago we made the jump into a more full time rescue effort. We have a mission of finding as many of these deserving dogs loving, forever homes. We here at Animal Attraction do our best to evaluate, socialize and provide a stable loving environment until we can find our dogs adoptive families.
Although we do have a physical location we are small and very busy, because of this we do adoptions by appointment only unless we are having an adoption day event.
We require a completed and approved adoption application prior to making an appointment to view a dog. Our adoption fee is $125, all adult dogs are fully vaccinated spayed or neutered. Puppies have a minimum of first round of shots and we will arrange for spay/ neutered when ready.
We are located midway between Nashville TN and Huntsville AL. in Columbia TN, we can arrange transport within those areas.
