Maya's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Maya's Story...
Maya found herself in the kill shelter after being picked up as a stray. She was rescued from the shelter just prior to giving birth to 7 beautiful puppies that are now ready for their own homes. It's Maya's turn for a wonderful home of her own now! She is not as large as a regular German Shephard...her legs are a little bit shorter. She is such a pretty girl, and very sweet! She will be spayed the first week in January when her milk has dried up and she can come to her new home on January 11th. Please...if you would love to give this girl a wonderful home please apply! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maya, a Staunton German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Staunton, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
