Ginny's Story...
Ginny is a Tortie with white female who was born on May 1, 2007 and was one of 6 siblings. Only she and her brother, Fred (check him out too!), are now available for adoption. Ginny loves attention and can be talkative in her attempts to get it. She tolerates holding and seems to be a gentle kitten. She does like to play chase with the other kittens in her foster home.

Please contact Judy at judythump@sbcglobal.net or 913.383.1584 to find out more about GINNY. Ginny usually goes to off-sight adoptions at the Petsmart Store at 115th & Metcalf.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginny, a Overland Park Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
