Benny's Story...
Benny is a sweet boy who is simply looking for a place rest his weary body, and a family who will love him and keep him safe. Although just 6 years old, Benny appears to have had a very tough life. He has a few physical ailments, all of which can be managed, and none of which are life-threatening. Benny loves people, and is good with other dogs as long as they are not too playful or energetic. Benny would do best in a house, rather than a townhome, condo or apartment. Benny the Beagle just wants to hang out in the company of a family who will appreciate him and understand his limitations.

Benny came to ADOPT in December 2012 from a shelter in Indiana. He was born around December 2006.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benny, a Naperville Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Naperville, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Naperville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naperville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naperville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naperville paves the way for another one to be saved.
