Dinky's Story...
Dinky is a sweet older girl about 6-8 years old. She was in a foster home for awhile and did very well, bonded immediately with mom and took to the kids too. Dinky is crate trained, housebroken fully vetted, microchipped and spayed. Dinky is a petite girl weighing about 15 pounds and is a delicate eater. She does well with the other small dogs here, both male and female. She has mellowed with age, but is still very active. If you would like to meet Dinky call 931-698-0303 or start the application process by clicking on the contact us tab for a fillable application. An adoption fee of $150 is required, which will help us save another dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dinky, a Columbia Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
