Sully's Story...
**Many thanks to Jenn Wilson at letmeshootyourpet.net for taking professional pictures of Sully!**

Sully is a neutered male lionhead cross rabbit, who is approximately a year old. He was rescued from a very bad situation where he was mixed in with many other rabbits who often fought and were hurt. Though still a little shy and beat up from his difficult past, he is now healing and blossoming into a very sweet loving little guy, who is easy to hold, likes to explore and loves being pet and having his ears scratched. He is now littertrained. Sully is good with cats and every day is becoming more and more social while receiving the time and care that he deserves.

Update Feb. 2013: Sully's foster mom reports that he is settling in well and becoming less shy everyday! He is now littertrained and is also very good with the family cats!

Sully is available for adoption through Grand River All-Breed Animal Rescue! His adoption fee is $60 and he is neutered. If you are interested in him, please visit our website: www.grandriverallbreedrescue.ca You can also reach us by email at GrandRiverRescue@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sully, a Cambridge Lionhead was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lionhead for sale in Cambridge, or seeking a Lionhead from a breeder in Cambridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cambridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cambridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lionhead breeders who help with Lionhead rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cambridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
