Layla's Story...
Wow what can we not say about our beautiful Layla other than she is your beautiful and typical boxer. Layla is a very sweet loving girl. She needs to learn some manners but is very willing to please. She never cried to go outside but preferred using the outdoors to the indoors. She had 2 accidents in the 2 1/2 months she spent here, one was my fault for keeping her in too long when her babies were small and the other time she had eaten some cookies and just couldn't hold it. She is very active and playful, she loves being outside and she runs like the wind! She lived here with 3 other dogs, all female, one pit bull and 2 little dogs and they got along well, she isn't however good with kitties! She enjoys walks and walks well with a leash, she didn't drag me down the street. We have a toddler here and she was good with her. She's a good eater, and she drinks gallons of water, because she plays so hard. She adores attention, and when spoken to sternly obeys. Hr only problem is her appetite. She will get on the kitchen counters if food is left out. That's how she got the cookies. She has a lot of love to give. She showed no aggression here to anything other than the cats and squirrels.Shes going to do best with a family willing to be active with her she loves a daily walk and lots of play time in a yard. She has been a wonderful mom to her babies but is now ready for her turn to enjoy being a dog with adventures to be had. Laila is a brindled beauty. We do believe that a man in her past was physically not great to her . She has been fostered in a home with men but can be cautious when meeting new men. NO CATS!!! WONDERFUL girl

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Layla, a East Hartland Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in East Hartland, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in East Hartland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in East Hartland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a East Hartland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in East Hartland paves the way for another one to be saved.
