JC's Story...
Hi, my name is JC and I would love to be your life buddy. I love to go for walks and car rides and my manners are impeccable during both. I ask that you never let me be in charge, it’s way too much pressure for me. I love my foster family but I would love to have a family to call my own. I live with 2 cats and 2 dogs and we all get along great. I would enjoy having a playmate but it’s okay if I am your one and only. I also live with 2 young children; I love them also as long as they don’t pick me up. If you are looking for loyalty, companionship and adorableness, I’m your guy. My adoption fee is $225. I am neutered, current on all age-appropriate vaccines and microchipped. Email to fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JC, a Knoxville Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
