Leda's Story...
Buddy had been a stray for a while and a nice woman and her husband were feeding him in the park for several months . Buddy soon began following her home, but they could not keep him. She feared for his safety and so reached out to many rescues for help. Thankfully we were able to help when no one else answered their plea. When Buddy got to the Vet, we all discovered Buddy was a girl! They also discovered Buddy had a microchip and her name was Leda....still no one came for this precious girl. Leda is smart- she knows sit, and down, and stay, and when you call her name she looks into your soul.... We do not know if Leda was abandoned or lost, the Microchip Company continues to leave messages, and no one calls back.... so Leda is looking for that home where she will be safe AND LOVED in her last years. She is 7-8 years old, but she is peppy, and playful and friendly and is such a calm, loving girl. You will be blessed if you adopt this very special one.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leda, a Quinlan Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Quinlan, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Quinlan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Quinlan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Quinlan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Quinlan paves the way for another one to be saved.
