Diggory's Story...
Meet Diggory. This beautiful black kitten has an uncanny ability to crawl into your lap and find a big place in your heart. Once you are able to establish a bond with Diggory he will be a loyal companion for life. He adores flopping himself down for a good belly rub, repeated pets on the rump, and hanging out in tents. Once Diggory has fallen in love with you he enjoys giving head butts and laying in your safe arms. Diggory would be great for a person who values having a deep bond with their cat and is willing to put in a little time to build it. He would also prefer a calm household with a limited number of other pets and people. Come on down and meet your new best friend.

All of our kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated against Distemper, and treated for fleas and other parasites.

If you are interested in adopting one of our kittens, please click here to fill out an Adoption Application. Our adoption fee is $85 for one kitten and $125 for two.

Our adoption center is located at 4600 Knapp NE 49525. Our open adoption hours are every Sunday from 12-2pm. Come on out and meet the love of your life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diggory, a Byron Center Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Byron Center, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Byron Center.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Byron Center already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Byron Center breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Byron Center paves the way for another one to be saved.
