Serene's Story...
Hi there my name is Serene. I am a very sweet young lady with a very calm quiet personality. I came to Keppa Animal Rescue from Animal Control. I am very shy when I meet new people. I will need an adopter with time, and patience to help me learn that I am safe. When I went to the doctor he told my foster mom that my teeth look like I spent a long time chewing on cage bars. I show signs of being neglected and possibly abused. I will follow you around, and lay my head on you. I would do best in a calm environment. Loud noises frighten me, so my foster mom is working on helping me learn that sounds, and movement are all okay. I do well with cats, and small dogs. I am a wonderful sweet girl, and I am just looking for a home to call my own. I have been spayed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. Please contact Keppa Animal Rescue for more information about me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Serene, a scottsdale Border Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Terrier for sale in scottsdale, or seeking a Border Terrier dog from a breeder in scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Terrier breeders who help with Border Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
