Bud's Story...
Came fron the woods into woman's back yard, screaming and underweight, full of worms. She fed him and is now fostering him for us. He is calm now, and loves soft attention from any hands. She has done wonders with him.

We have an adoption contract. We will also aid in getting the animal transported to a rescue we know near you if you are interested in adopting it. You would then adopt locally from the receiving rescue and follow all their adoption procedures.

We are the former Beath Animal shelter and serve several rural counties in our area: Amelia, Appomattox, Buckingham, Cumberland, Fluvanna, Goochland, Powhatan, Prince Edward, City of Farmville (all contiguous to each other).
