Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption fee is $200.00 and pets are fully vetted before being adopted.
Once an application is filled out we will contact potential adopters to do an interview.
We will then contact vet references and personal references.
We will take the pet to the applicants home and meet with the entire family to see how compatible the pet is with the family and also conduct our home visit while doing the meet and greet.
We will then meet with the board of directors to discuss all the applications and make the decision as to which family will best fit the pets needs.
Please consider more than one pet if wanting to adopt there are many families that are approved for adoption but might not be the best fit for the pets needs and we would have a pet that is more compatible to their lifestyle.

We are located in Morgantown WV and all adoptable pets are in foster homes as we do not have a shelter. We will adopt a pet within a 100 mile radius.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster, a Morgantown St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Morgantown, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Morgantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Morgantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Morgantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Morgantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
