Rita is a petite, young fawn pug mix with a twinkle in her eye. Only 2 years old and 10 pounds, this lightweight endured some tough days as a stray on the streets of San Antonio before being rescued from a kill shelter. But the mean streets didn't get the best of Rita. She’s extremely perky and friendly from the minute she meets you, and is as eager to cuddle with people as she is to play with other pups. Rita is silly, curious, and seems to always be winking at you. . . partly because she is missing an eye, her one concession to the mean streets. She’s healthy, spayed, heartworm negative, micro-chipped, and ready to find love.
