A sassy, 3 yr old, neutered Chug, whose “Need for Speed” is matched only by his love for lap surfing and racing around the yard at top speed. Brewster hasn’t had the most supportive sponsors throughout his racing career, and was just hours from being permanently “cut from the team” before finding a new organization that would champion his racing career. Currently undergoing treatment for heartworms, Brewster is anxiously waiting for the day he can get back up to his full speed. With minimal maintenance from his foster family, Brewster’s easily adaptable style is sure to win the hearts and minds of fans everywhere!! Pug Rescue of Austin is a nonprofit 501c3 organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of abused, neglected and unwanted pugs. We do not discriminate on the basis of health or age.
Our mission is to provide a safe, caring and humane refuge for abandoned pugs and to ensure quality adoptive homes.
Pug Rescue of Austin promotes responsible pug ownership through public education about the unique needs of pugs and a mandatory spay/neuter policy.
Adoption days are held at the Petco at Great Hills Trail in Austin, TX (9828 Great Hills Trail, Austin, TX 78759) every first and third Sunday from 1-3 (unless otherwise noted under events section of our website.)

Our policies, procedures, and fees are listed on our website and in our applications and contracts. We require an approved application prior to setting up a meeting (usually a home visit), a contract if the meeting goes well, and a trial adoption period before finalizing the adoption.
Adoption Fees
6 months and under: $350.00
7 mos to 4 years old: $300.00
5 to 9 years old: $250.00
10 to 11 years old: $200.00
12 and older: $100.00
