Wick's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Wick's Story...
Orin and Wick are brothers who came to rescue as 5 month old puppies in 2008. They were adopted together but in 2012, their dad made the decision to enter a 'spiritual community', whatever that is, and returned the boys to rescue. I don't feel that they need to be adopted together. They were born on November 7, 2007. Both are full breed Chinese Cresteds. Both are very hairy hairless. The man who had them liked his dogs natural so they were not groomed. Consequently, neither is good on the grooming table. I did have them groomed once but it was such an ordeal for them that I am learning to like the natural look as well. Orin has more hair covering that Wick does but really, I think that they both look fine. Wick is the one with the golden crest. He weighs 14 pounds without an ounce of fat on him. He's the more shy of the two. I really like these two knuckleheads and they enjoy my attention. They are in a multidog foster home and are doing fine with the other dogs. Both are neutered, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm/flea preventative, is microchipped and have had a dental cleaning. The adoption fee for each is $200 with all vet work done. We'll make a good deal for you if you decide that you'd like to adopt both of them together.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wick, a House Springs Chinese Crested dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chinese Crested for sale in House Springs, or seeking a Chinese Crested dog from a breeder in House Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in House Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a House Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chinese Crested breeders who help with Chinese Crested rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in House Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
