Sadie's Story...
Sadie - 20130003

My name is Sadie. I am an 8 year old wheaton terrier/sheltie mix and weigh 62#. I am housebroken and enjoy walks on the leash. I have lived with adults only but have socialized with young adults which was fun, it's a little kids that make me nervous. I know the basic commands and enjoy getting bathed which is good because I will require regular grooming. I have not been social with other dogs but I lived with a cat and he was pretty cool. I have met some nice people here at Suncoast and they are taking good care of me but I hope to find a new family where I can live out the rest of my years.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Englewood Wheaten Terrier/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wheaten Terrier/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Englewood, or seeking a Wheaten Terrier/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog from a breeder in Englewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Englewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Englewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wheaten Terrier/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Wheaten Terrier/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Englewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
