Cornbread *Foster Needed*'s Story...
Cornbread is very new to our program. He was sold out of a Wal-Mart parking lot to a young man who could not keep Cornbread, or his sister Biscuit, once he got home. They were bound for the pound until a friend of the rescue stepped in. He is approximately 5 months old and is a complete sweetheart. He's now just hoping to find his forever family to share his love and fun with.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cornbread *Foster Needed*, a Christiana Australian Cattle Dog/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Boxer for sale in Christiana, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Christiana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Christiana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Christiana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Boxer breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Christiana paves the way for another one to be saved.
