Biscuit's Story...
Biscuit is very new to our program. She was sold out of a Wal-Mart parking lot to a young man who could not keep Biscuit, or her brother Cornbread, once he got home. They were bound for the pound until a friend of the rescue stepped in. She is approximately 8 weeks old and is a complete sweetheart. She's now just hoping to find her forever family to share her love and fun with.

Biscuit will not be adopted out until she is 14 weeks. She will up-to-date on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped.

**OpEd does not adopt out outdoor pets**

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Biscuit, a Christiana Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Christiana, or seeking a Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Christiana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Christiana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Christiana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Christiana paves the way for another one to be saved.
