1212-0540 James Bond's Story...

Thank you for your interest in our adoptable animals.  If you would like more information about this pet, see the Shelter information below.   We would love to help you rescue a perfect pet!

Bond.....James Bond. Doggie extraordinaire... well, at least we think so! JB is approx. 2yrs old and about 60-65lbs. He is full of energy and loves to play.  He is a big, strong boy looking for someone willing and able to give him the time and attention he desires.  He is totally people friendly.  He loves his humans and can get a little overzealous but with a little time and attention, he'll polish up on his manners nicely.  This time you spend w/ him will only strengthen the bond you and he will develop.  He can get a little mouthy as well but this is probably only in his excitement of interacting w/ his humans from the standpoint of him being locked in a cage daily.  A little training (and out of the shelter) will help him overcome this.  James Bond also loves to play w/ other dogs.  He has shown persistent mounting behavior during play but it is fairly gentle and he takes correction from another dog very well.  This is a behavior that will also subside when he is neutered, which he will be before he leaves the shelter.  James Bond loves to go for walks and he has been known to pull a bit when walking but, as I say, practice makes perfect, so practicing will be fun, a bonding time for all involved, and a time to enjoy the outdoors.  He loves to run but only for the shorter distances at this point.  I do, however, feel a little training might get this boy into some good 5k's for K9s though!  James Bond has a great personality, friendly and fun.  He is in a back transition room, however, so be sure to ask a caretaker to bring him out if you are interested in meeting w/ him.  #1212-0540
