My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Monroe is a larger Mini American Eskimo Dog, energetic and very sweet! The first thing you will notice is his beautiful coat!!! Lots of brushing, but totally worth the efforts to keep him looking his best! Monroe is very treat motivated and will sit on command. With a little work, we are sure he will respond nicely to additional training and catch on quickly to more commands. Since he is full of curiosity and energy a training class would be an excellent adventure for this wonderful boy. Monroe needs a little work in the housebreaking department, but that is not unusual, most do. A "belly band" will save you during adjustment time! Monroe has been sweet with everyone he has met, including young teens, but we have not yet introduced him to younger children. Our thoughts are a fenced yard and children over 10 yrs will suit him best. We guess that Monroe is between 6-8 years old. He is OK on leash, and OK in the car, a little more practice with both and he will be a pro! Monroe is a charmer!
