Bear's Story...
My name is Bear. I was neglected and stranded for the first part of my life. I had to work really hard to protect myself and to get food. I did acquire FIV but I am strong, buff and healthy with nothing but love to give. It was hard for me to trust anyone for a long time but then I met my foster family! They have spent so much gentle time with me and now all I want is to be around people. I love to cuddle in your lap and I’ll even let you pet my belly and pick me up. I also love to play and run and roll around with my toys. If I can’t cuddle or play I am still happy if I can just follow you around and be near you. Unfortunately, I can’t get along with other animals which means I can’t be a part of my foster family’s house because they have other cats. It’s really sad because I cry and want to be with them all the time but I can’t because I get so mad at the other cats for stealing the attention. I really need a home where I am the only pet and my parents are patient, understanding and loving with me. All I want is to be part of a family! I know I can make you very happy if you give me the forever home I need and desperately want! Come and meet me today and I will show you how special I am!

About Our Rescue Group...
We are the Naples Cat Alliance. We are primarily a Trap-Neuter-Return group and have volunteers feeding registered feral cat colonies. We have been operational for approximately three years and have now added adoptions to our mission as well.

Our cats/kittens can be seen by appointment at our Davis Blvd location. We also are partnered with Petsmart Charities at the East Ft. Myers location, 9371 Six Mile Cypress, exit 136 on Interstate 75.

Our Adoption Process...
We ask for a $60 donation to cover some of the costs associated with spay/neuter and vaccinations. All of our cats/kittens are spayed or neutered, receive a rabies vaccination, an FVRCP vaccination and are de-wormed and micro chipped. We require a home visit before placement.
