Wallace - Healthy & Happy!'s Info...
|Size:||Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less||Sex:||Male|
I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
**Update** (8/13/12) Little Wallace has received his heartworm treatment and is doing great! He is now ready to find his new family and a new life! TO ADOPT WALLACE, PLEASE EMAIL AngelsAmongUsRS@live.com. (7/26/12) As if being dumped by his owners wasn't bad enough, Wallace just tested positive for heartworm. He is being examined by a vet to confirm that he is healthy enough for the treatment. If so, he should be good as new in a few weeks. Please say a prayer for our sweet little man, Wallace! (7/25/12) Another victim of owner surrender......Wallace was surrendered by his owner that said they couldn't keep him because they were afraid an elderly family member would trip over him. He is very sweet and loves attention. Wallace is good with other dogs. The previous owner said that he is good with children, however due to his size, he would not be adopted to a family with very young children. He weighs about 7lbs. Wallace is UTD on all of his vacs, and he is being neutered next week. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN FOSTERING OR ADOPTING WALLACE, PLEASE EMAIL AngelsAmongUsRS@live.com.

Rescue Group Info...
Our rescue focuses on senior dog adoption and hospice care. We pull most of our rescue dogs from high kill shelters where seniors have no chance of adoption. We also take owner surrenders when the owner can no longer care for their senior dog. We have foster homes in several states for our adoptable seniors. We are especially proud of our "Seniors for Seniors" Program where we match our adoptable senior dogs with senior citizens. We have fundraising events so that we can donate the vetting for this program. We rescue dogs with special needs who are blind, deaf, arthritic, diabetic...as well as dogs with serious illnesses such as cancer, heart disease, etc. We have three foster homes that specialize in the care of our Resident Angels, our hospice cases. We are an all volunteer organization, and we are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and help with fundraising.
Pay Pal donation button on the homepage of our website.
We require an application, vet reference check, personal references and a home visit prior to approval. We accept adoption donations to go toward our vetting costs for each dog. Their is no adoption fee/donation for our "Seniors for Seniors" Program which matches our senior dogs with senior citizens.
