Ollie Needs a Foster Home!'s Story...
(1/4/13) Ollie is an older boy who was rescued from a terrible life. He seems to be a shepherd mix....but only weighs about 45-50 lbs. Ollie gets excited when people are around and wants to interact with them. He dances around until someone pays attention to him. Ollie will do well in a home where he will receive lots of love and affection as he seems to be really craving close human connection. He is great with other dogs....and really responds to his foster's young grandchild. RADAR (Raising Aid for Dogs at Risk) is helping to sponsor Ollie's vetting so as soon as his vaccinations are updated and he is neutered, he will be ready to meet a new family. Please help us make a difference in this sweet boy's life. TO ADOPT OLLIE, PLEASE EMAIL

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ollie Needs a Foster Home!, a Quentin Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Quentin, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Quentin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Quentin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Quentin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Quentin paves the way for another one to be saved.
