**Update" (10/10/12) Henry is still waiting for a new family and home! He would love to be a part of an active family where he would get lots of walks and playtime. If you can help us change this sweet boy's life, please contact us at AngelsAmongUSRS@live.com. (7/13/12). Henry is a 5-6 year old terrier/chi? mix (taller with long legs) that was found as a stray with his friend/brother Bishop, but sadly know one came looking for them. We don't know what kind of life he has had up until now, but we are determined to make sure that Henry has a great life from now on. Henry is a very sweet boy who gets along with other dogs. Henry weighs about 15 Lbs. IF YOU CAN HELP HENRY BY FOSTERING OR ADOPTING HIM, PLEASE EMAIL AngelsAmongUsRS@live.com.

Rescue Group Info...
Our rescue focuses on senior dog adoption and hospice care. We pull most of our rescue dogs from high kill shelters where seniors have no chance of adoption. We also take owner surrenders when the owner can no longer care for their senior dog. We have foster homes in several states for our adoptable seniors. We are especially proud of our "Seniors for Seniors" Program where we match our adoptable senior dogs with senior citizens. We have fundraising events so that we can donate the vetting for this program. We rescue dogs with special needs who are blind, deaf, arthritic, diabetic...as well as dogs with serious illnesses such as cancer, heart disease, etc. We have three foster homes that specialize in the care of our Resident Angels, our hospice cases. We are an all volunteer organization, and we are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and help with fundraising.
Pay Pal donation button on the homepage of our website.
We require an application, vet reference check, personal references and a home visit prior to approval. We accept adoption donations to go toward our vetting costs for each dog. Their is no adoption fee/donation for our "Seniors for Seniors" Program which matches our senior dogs with senior citizens.
