Georgia's Story...
Georgia, Georgia,
The whole day through
Just an old sweet song
Keeps Georgia on my mind

Georgia is a"peachy" 3-4 year old petite female who weighs in at a whopping 13 lbs. She came to us after being found running the roads and was covered with fleas. She is recovering from flea allergies and needs to plump up a bit but this fuzzy little girl like an old sweet song...that will keep Georgia on your mind. Update: Georgias skin is looking great and she is filling out nicely. This girl is a definite cutie patootie!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Georgia, a Houston Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Houston, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
