I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Brinkley's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Brinkley's Story...
Brinkley is very sweet and mild mannered. She is pretty much house trained. She is kenneled at night and if we are gone, she goes right to her kennel when told. She knows a couple commands...sit, down and off. She is very smart and will do wonderfully with training. Brinkley is estimated to be 1-2 years old and is approximately 47 lbs.

Since we don't know at all what doggy genes are in the dogs make up (we don't know who mom & dad are!), we are guessing on breed and size when grown.

Please note that because we require a home visit at the time of adoption we can only place animals in homes within a 60 mile radius of Minneapolis.

If you are interested in meeting this dog or pup please fill out the pre-adoption application on our website at www.safehandsrescue.org under Adopt and we will get back to you to arrange a meeting in the foster home.

We also have an Adoptable Dog Meet & Greet on Saturday, February 2nd at The Adopt-A-Pet Shop located at 1115 Vicksburg Lane N Plymouth from noon - 2 pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brinkley, a Minneapolis Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
