Sheba's Story...
Sheba is definitely a royal looking girl. Just over one year old, she is a beautiful specimen both in looks and in soul. Loving and friendly to all people, cats, and dogs, she was given to us by her owner who was never home and wanted her to find a home where her people can give her the time she deserves.

Sheba does very well on leash, but she can forget herself a little when she meets new people or dogs. She truly wants to please, though, and tries her very best to remember to do well. Sheba took to a crate in no time at all. She was interested in our cat but turned and walked away after they met. She loves our large dogs and would love to play with our small dogs but is a bit large and energetic for them.

Sheba is one very smart girl and we are looking for a family that has experience with this breed. Please contact us at tmabrescue@gmail.com for an application and to find out when and where you can meet this beauty.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sheba, a Oakley German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Oakley, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Oakley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakley paves the way for another one to be saved.
