Jade's Story...

Jade is a very pretty, very little, very feminine blue 3 year old Weimaraner. She is a bit underweight, but she is working hard to remedy that - she has a very good appetite! She is housebroken and does  well in a crate. She is very eager to please people. She is loving and takes food gently from the hand. She would be happy to sit on your lap or at your feet and will follow you throughout the house. She will be active if you are, but will curl up and rest when you do. She knows Sit and walks fairly well on a leash, with minimal pulling. She was frightened of the stairs at first, but after a little coaxing and loving, she now races up and down the stairs for fun. She is beautiful, smart, and sweet! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jade, a St. Louis Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
