Jade's Story...
You’re probably wondering who that cute dog is in the picture. It’s me, Jade, and I’m a 2 year old girl. As you can see my poor little paw has been injured. The nice people at AZGRC fixed it right up. But now I’m afraid to use it so I’m going to need a bunch of understanding with gentle coaxing to help me stand on it. And cuddling. Don’t forget cuddling.

I’m a very loyal girl. I will be totally devoted to you and miss you terribly when you’re gone. So you should probably stay home with me a lot. When you’re gone I might bark. But, what I’m thinkin’ is…. you know that question “If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it does it make a sound?” So, if you can’t hear me we should be OK.

Let’s talk about sports. Remember playing “king of the hill” when you were little? Well, I have my own version and it’s really fun. It’s called “king of the table”. I like sitting on the couch. Is that a sport? Counter surfing is fun. Wrestling with my brother Josh is my favorite. He’s up for adoption with me.

Now let me tell you some more about me. I like small dogs, cats, most people and food…maybe a little too much. I’m not very good walking on a leash but we should be able to fix that.

I sound pretty great, don’t I? I am great, just not perfect. So, if you’re an understanding and nurturing person, willing to work with me I’m the girl for you. I will love you forever. And I know you’ll like my brother, Josh.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jade, a Scottsdale Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
