Bess's Story...
Hi my name is Bess. I am a very sweet black female kitten. If you are just sitting on the couch and watching TV I will curl up on your shoulder and fall asleep. I'm a pretty laid back kitten, but I love to play around with my sister Ally. I am very sweet and need a loving home. I would very much like it if I get adopted with my sister because we haven't been separated since we were brought home from the pound and rescued. I need to be with her, she is my little friend that's always been there for me. If you are interested in Bess, please contact info@westendcatrescue.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bess, a Richmond Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
