UPDATED BIO 03/05//2013: Kelly is a 6 year old 12 lb girlie who is being fostered in Punta Gorda, FL.
Here’s an update from Miss Kelly:
Hi everyone - it is me Kelly! Foster Mom says I am coming along nicely. I am no longer having potty accidents, but foster mom gives me my medicine daily. I still have self-confidence issues, especially when Kitty Kat gets into trouble, and FM or FD scold her. When someone speaks loudly and I hear it, I feel like it is my fault, and I wtill go and sit in the corner with my face in to the wall. It takes a lot of love and baby talk to get me to realize it wasn’t my fault.
I now sleep on the bed at night, not sure I like sharing my bed with my foster sister Daisy, but we are getting along. Foster Sisters Daisy, Elsie and me make quite a team, and we have lots of fun together, sometimes even with Cleo, that dunderheaded Kit Kat (who really isn’t that bad, she just gets into lotsa mischief.)
I am a happy girl, but I need someone who is home all the time to love me, and help me build my self-confidence. I will freak out if you are gone all day long………. that is what happened with my first adopters ~ they were gone a lot. I do keep the house in order when FM and FD leave for a little while. They leave me in charge, and I think I do pretty good at keeping order in the house. I would do well with other animals, but I think I would be happiest by myself with people who are home all day.
Do you like to take walks, do you like me to sit on your lap even though I am a little bigger lap dog? I am 12 lbs. and let me say that poundage is
a-l-l loveable.

UPDATED BIO 01/11/2013: Hi everyone It is me Kelly, again. I was a stray rescued from a shelter in June 2012, I was adopted, and returned after 5 months. I was having some potty issues. My family would be away for long periods of time, and I missed them, so I would potty in the house. I guess my feelings would just be hurt cause no one was home to give me love. That is why I was returned to foster mom. Silly me. Anyway, when Foster mom first started taking care of me, I would be sleeping like a baby, and I would have a potty accident while I was sleeping. So the dogtor, put me on a really inexpensive potty medicine, for incontinence, and I did really great. When I was adopted they took me off the potty medicine, maybe that is why I oh-oh’d. Anyway, I am back with foster mom, she took me back to another dogtor, and I am back on medicine. I am also on Urinary support dog food, and I will need to be checked to make sure the medicine isn’t causing any problems to my doggie organs. Right now after 3 different dogtors, they all say I am healthy, I just have a weak bladder. I will need some special care, but I am very loving, that is all I want in life is love, love, and more love.
I will need someone very special to adopt me, because I am very insecure with low self confidence, and I often feel like I can`t do anything right. Foster mom and dad, have been real encouraging, and I am starting to feel better about myself, I am also eating home made organic dog food, along with the hard stuff made by my foster brother’s new daddy that has organic chicken, cranberries, and beans to help my bladder get stronger. I really like the goop!!

UPDATED BIO 01/04/2013: Kelly is 6 years old and weighs 14 lbs; she is being fostered in Punta Gorda, FL. If Kelly looks familiar, its because she was previously aadopted out and, although she was very loved in her new home, things didn't work out, so she is now back. Stay tuned for some updated info on Kelly - what a beauty she is! She was having potty accidents in her adopted home, but she is doing wonderfully in her foster home. No accidents here. She is an EXTREMELY loving little girl.
UPDATED BIO 06/27/2012: NEWSFLASH! Kelly is no older than 6 as per our vet! WOOHOO! She is being fostered in Punta Gorda, FL. She is a sweet and very affectionate little girl and is housetrained to go outside. She has on occasion pee pee'd a little in her sleep; so, we are exploring possibly adding an inexpensive medication for her to take at night so that won't be a problem anymore. She is a great dog and gets along with everyone in the foster home including the cat. Could Kelly be the one for you?
