Sage's Story...
Sage is super friendly, super cute and SO happy to be out of a cage! This 5 1/2 mos old boy was rescued from a Maryland shelter where he was dropped off along with other cats because his family had "too many"...if only they spayed/neutered! He enjoys playing with everything in the room...but always takes time out for cuddles with his humans. Sage sports a soft tabby coat, has a loud purr and doesn't hesitate to jump in your lap! He's very loving, is a "leg twiner" and eager to settle in to his forever home which should include another active kitten/young cat . Posted 1/7/13

Rescue Group Info...
About Our Rescue Group...
We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. We do not have a shelter and rely on a group of dedicated foster homes to care for our felines until a "fur-ever" home can be found. We actively promote the importance of spaying and neutering and best practices in companion animal care. The majority of our cats/kittens come from high-kill shelters. We do not receive any government funding and rely on private contributions, 100% of which go to provide medical care, food and supplies.

Come Meet Our Pets...
All of our cats are in private foster homes; therefore, we require an application be completed before setting up appointments to meet them; an application can be e-mailed, faxed or mailed upon request. Adopters must be within a reasonible driving distance to No. VA as we do not ship our animals; we participate in an adoption event held in Wash. DC most Sundays in conjunction with other rescuers. Please e-mail us for specifics.

Our Adoption Process...
We strive to make the "purr-fect" match through our interview and application process. Adoption fees include all medical work (FELV/FIV testing, shots; spay/neuter); home visits are required prior to final placement. The majority of our kittens are only available for adoption in pairs or as a companion to another young cat/kitten already in the home.
