Here is what his foster family had to say:
Willow is a wonderful boy and full of energy!! He loves to play in the yard and amuses himself, throws the balls in the air and away he goes, too fun!! Coming from an apartment, he was never allowed the luxury of going outside and playing at will so a backyard to play in would be wonderful. Although couch time is important after romping as well.
He plays well with my other dogs and I hear he loves cats!! Willow loves his toys and only his toys, he has not touched anything of ours and that says a lot for a pup!! He knows some commands and will obey after a couple attempts and for 9 months old, that's great!! Willow is COMPLETELY house trained, not one accident at all. His is fully crated trained with NO barking or messes!! I love having his "spunk" in the house. He truly would do very well with an energetic family with other dogs and perhaps older children would fit Willow best, being a pup, but a wonderful pup!!!
He walks on a leash, although will pull a bit but listens when you pull up on the leash. No escaping enters his minds that I can see as he loves to be with people. He rides in the car beautifully! His favourite things are to play and cuddle. He loves TV and of course his bones!! He talks, yes talks, when he wants you to play but is generally quiet in the home.
An active household and a fenced yard would be best for Willow. He would be great with older children as although he loves to play and can entertain himself, joining him in play is what he loves best. He is too funny and a real character that will make you laugh. Dogs, cats and anyone else would be lucky to have Willow in their lives. I know I have enjoyed fostering him and he has the ability to always put a smile on my face. He is a great pup and learns fast.
If you think Willow would be a good fit for your family, please submit an application for consideration.
