ANNIE's Story...
Hi my name is Annie. I am a 7 weeks old female German Shepherd mix. HNH rescued me from death as I was turned into the shelter at only 4 weeks old. I am getting bigger each day, last week I gained 3lbs putting me at 7lbs. My foster Mom says I am not ready for a forever home until I am a little bit older but they tell me I will be ready by Jan 26th, but they are taking applications for me. Oh I love my chew toys, playing tug a war and playing with the other puppies here. Annie is a hoot she has so much personality and is going to make a great family dog for someone with a yard. She is current on Vaccines and will be micro-chipped and spayed before going to her forever home. For an application please contact Lorna at Lorna@hopenheroes.com. Adoption/donation fee and home check required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ANNIE, a Torrance German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Torrance, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Torrance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Torrance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Torrance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Torrance paves the way for another one to be saved.
