Big Ben's Story...
I love to be petted, cuddle next to you or on your lap, and I'm playful and inquisitive. I will purr when you pet me and will lay next to you on the desk while you use the computer or do other work. However, even tho I love to be petted, sometimes I get overstimulated so I wouldn't do well with small children who might not know when to stop. I'd love a home with no other cats so I can get all your attention. I'm a grey tabby with white neutered male. I am negative for FELV/FIV, spayed or neutered and had one (if adult) or two (if kitten) distemper shot(s). and a rabies shot if old enough

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Big Ben, a Colorado Springs Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colorado Springs, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Colorado Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
