Sasha's Story...
Meet Sasha. Sasha and her sibling were turned into a very high kill shelter in SE KY. Luckily for her the veterinarian who helps at the shelter is a pittie lover and couldn't see these two sweeties put down just because of their breed. Sasha is a super friendly, female, approximately 12 weeks old, and is a complete lovebug! She gets along great with other dogs of all sizes and cats. She would make an ideal family companion. She is working very hard on her crate training and house training skills. Sasha has been spayed, up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped, given a fecal exam, and dewormer, as well as flea preventative. If you have any questions or re interested in completing an adoption application for Sasha, please email bettinav@hotmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a Hazard American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Hazard, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in Hazard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hazard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hazard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hazard paves the way for another one to be saved.
