Gidget's Story...
Gidget is a sweet little old lady who enjoys watching the birds out the window on nice days. Like most cats she naps often, making a great snuggle buddy! She is a mellow girl who enjoys sitting on your lap and getting some love whenever she gets the chance. Gidget had a dental cleaning and blood work completed in March 2013 and everything looked wonderful. She is in great health and looking for a loving family to spend time with. To meet Gidget in person please stop by the shelter on Tuesday or Saturday during our normal business hours. Tuesday or Saturday doesn't work for you? To meet the animals any day of the week please call for an appointment and the staff will be happy to set you up with a date and time to visit us!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gidget, a Chippewa Falls Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Chippewa Falls, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Chippewa Falls.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chippewa Falls already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chippewa Falls breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chippewa Falls paves the way for another one to be saved.
