Rosie's Story...
Rosie is about 1 1/2 years old, she was surrendered to a shelter when her owner was put into a nursing home. Rosie is a beautiful color, it reminds me of Black Hills Gold, sort of a pink taupe. Rosie is a real love, full of kisses and snuggles. She is spayed, microchipped fully vetted and ready to give someone lots of love. She loves to run and play with the other small dogs here and will do anything for a "chewy treat". Just look at those eyes!! Looking for a great lap dog, Rosie may be the one, fill out an application which can be found on our website under the contact us tab. Or call for an appointment to meet her at 931-698-0303. An adoption fee of $150 is required which will go towards saving another dog in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Columbia Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
