WALLY's Story...
Happy New Year! I am Wally, an 8 year male neutered Corgi who would love to bring in the New Year with a forever family! I enjoy human companionship more than anything and I would say at this point in my life I would like to be your one and only. I am a sturdy fellow looking to become a loyal family member. I love walks and love to vocalize when I want your attention. Because I have been neutered late in life, I will need a family willing and dedicated to working on my house training skills. I am ready and willing. I have never been around small young children, so a household with older children or an adult only household would be great! I have got lots of pep in my step and just want to become someone's loving companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

WALLY, a Calais Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Calais, or seeking a Corgi dog from a breeder in Calais.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Calais already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Calais breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Calais paves the way for another one to be saved.
