Peanut's Story...
Peanut just came to us here over the Holidays. He is a neutered male weighing about 8 pounds or so. He is an older min pin (best guess 5-7 years old) of the smaller variety. Peanut hangs out with the small dogs here without any problems, but really doesn't care either way. He is just as content to go off on his own exploring the yard. We usually have to go bring him back in when playtime is over, really likes the outdoors (even in this cooler weather). He is fully vetted and ready to go, he loves to be carried and is looking for a good lap to call his own. If that is you please fill out an application located under the contact us tab on our website or call to make an appointment to meet him in person 931-698-0303. An adoption fee of $150 is required which helps us save another dog from death row.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut, a Columbia Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
