Lucky's Story...
This is one lucky little girl. Lucky was found on a demolition job site where she was discovered among debris from a building that was being torn down. She was only 5 weeks old, scared, and alone when her rescuer was surprised to find this little cutie. She is a tortoise shell calico and as of the first week of this New Year is going on a happy, healthy 10 weeks old. She is very playful and just loves to explore and discover. She is still getting used to dogs, but her foster mom thinks she is making great progress. She gets along great with children, and just loves to snuggle and cuddle. Lucky stumbled upon a miracle when she was discovered among the construction debris that was being thrown away and is now looking for just one more miracle, a forever home that will love her and cherish her beautiful spirit. Please contact us today if you have room in your heart and your life for this special little girl.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a Tampa Calico kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Calico kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
