Lucky's Story...
This is one lucky little girl. Lucky was found on a demolition job site where she was discovered among debris from a building that was being torn down. She was only 5 weeks old, scared, and alone when her rescuer was surprised to find this little cutie. She is a tortoise shell calico and as of the first week of this New Year is going on a happy, healthy 10 weeks old. She is very playful and just loves to explore and discover. She is still getting used to dogs, but her foster mom thinks she is making great progress. She gets along great with children, and just loves to snuggle and cuddle. Lucky stumbled upon a miracle when she was discovered among the construction debris that was being thrown away and is now looking for just one more miracle, a forever home that will love her and cherish her beautiful spirit. About Our Rescue Group...
Florida Parrot Rescue is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of companion parrots. We strive to educate parrot owners on proper handling and care of parrots. Should someone be unable to keep their bird(s) for ANY reason, we want them to know there is a place to turn, and that they are not alone. It is our goal to provide a safe haven for birds that cannot stay with their owners or birds in need, and then to find those birds permanent forever homes with loving and responsible families.

We require an application which is free of charge, an adoption fee which varies on the bird you wish to adopt. We do NOT adopt our for breeding purposes.
